In DogPay's Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) architecture, we provide you with a modular and scalable account framework. Designed to offer a clear, logical hierarchy, this system enables any platform to quickly build a service ecosystem spanning both fiat banking and cryptocurrency domains.
Whether you're launching quickly as a PaaS (PaaS reseller) or customizing deeply as a licensed entity, DogPay's core architecture ensures your business maintains extremely high compliance standards while offering flexibility.
In today's highly integrated landscape of cross-border trade and the digital economy, single-channel payment integration can no longer satisfy complex, platform-level business needs. DogPay BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service) delivers a modular banking account and fund-flow API infrastructure for global platforms, agents, and licensed financial institutions.
Through DogPay BaaS, partners do not need to spend time connecting with banks in multiple countries or applying for complex clearing licenses. Instead, they can seamlessly embed financial foundations—such as account opening, two-way fiat and cryptocurrency conversion, ledger reconciliation, and multi-tier fee sharing—into their own systems using a single, simplified API (Unified BaaS API).
DogPay BaaS is a banking account and fund-flow API infrastructure designed for PSPs, agents, financial channels, and platform customers.
Through the DogPay BaaS platform, partners can seamlessly embed end-to-end financial lifecycle management capabilities into their own systems or client interfaces. The entire closed loop of fund and data flows (The Financial Lifecycle Loop) is completely API-driven.

To adapt to the compliance requirements of different global jurisdictions and the business priorities of partners, DogPay delivers two differentiated collaboration loops (Strategic Partnership Loops):

PSP / Licensed Institution Mode (Licensed PSP Loop)
Target Audience: Licensed partners with qualifications in payment, remittance, MSB, EMI, PSP, or local financial services.
Business Scope: Partners serve downstream clients within their own compliance frameworks, acting as independent brands facing end users.
API Permissions: Fully accessible. Partners independently submit and manage customer data, operate account openings, initiate instructions (pay-in/pay-out), customize fee settlements, and obtain daily full reconciliation files via API.
Agent & Channel Model (Agent & Channel Loop)
Target Audience: Partners who possess local merchant or client resources, but do not directly hold or pool customer funds.
Business Boundary: Agents are primarily responsible for onboarding clients and assisting with document submission. Fund custody, clearing, and final transfers are handled independently by DogPay and its underlying licensed financial institutions; agents do not bear compliance risks related to funds.
API Permissions: Supports document submission tracking, as well as the query and settlement of downstream earnings and commission sharing.
Account & Compliance Layer
Downstream Client Data Submission: Automatically submit end-user KYB/KYC applications via API.
Real-time Compliance Status Sync: Asynchronous callbacks (Webhooks) provide real-time updates on KYC/KYC review progress and Requests for Information (RFI) for supplementary materials.
Virtual Account (VA) Provisioning: Instant (sub-second) issuance of dedicated local clearing virtual accounts for major fiat currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, HKD, etc.).
Certificate of Account Generation: Automatically generate official Proof of Account (COA) documents for downstream users to serve as proof of platform qualifications or compliant account opening.
Clearing & Settlement Layer
Fiat Pay-in & Pay-out: Supports deposits and payouts across global multi-currency local clearing networks, including ACH, Wire, SEPA, FPS, and CHAPS.
Fiat & Crypto Exchange (FX & Crypto Swap): Execute instant, seamless hedging between USD and USDT/USDC directly within the API.
Crypto Wallet Integration: Supports asset flow mapping between underlying bank transactions and specific digital wallets (Custodial / Non-Custodial).
Finance & Billing Layer
Balance & Status Query: Real-time query of multi-tier sub-account balances and full lifecycle status tracking for individual transactions.
Transaction Status Webhook: Real-time asynchronous notifications for fund arrivals, successful payouts, or transaction exception returns.
Automated Reconciliation: Provides standardized, structured end-of-day reconciliation files and transaction statement feed APIs.
Fee Configuration & Downstream Markup: Supports customizable downstream fee models (e.g., markup revenue sharing, inclusive/exclusive fee configurations), allowing partners to easily capture spread margins.
Through standardized operational workflows, we simplify complex cross-border financial infrastructure deployment into an efficient integration loop:

1. Platform Multi-Tier Accounts
SaaS platforms can automatically issue isolated, independent virtual accounts for downstream sub-merchants, end creators, or individual buyers via BaaS. Through APIs, the platform gains full global control over fund transfers, holds, and fee deductions between the main account and sub-accounts, creating a fully self-managed financial closed loop.
2. E-commerce Funds Management
Cross-border e-commerce service platforms can leverage BaaS to assign overseas local receiving accounts to sellers on their platform. It supports paying overseas suppliers and advertising expenses (such as Google/Meta ad deductions), while enabling unified cross-border FX conversion and reconciliation.
3. Overseas Payroll & Creator Payout
Global enterprises or marketing platforms can use BaaS APIs to execute batch payouts to global remote employees, independent developers, and creators (KOLs), automatically converting funds into local fiat or mainstream digital assets prior to disbursement.
4. Trading Platforms
Assign high-efficiency, multi-channel local fiat pay-in and pay-out paths for trading users across different legal jurisdictions. Leveraging the platform's robust exchange engine, high-speed conversion and settlement from USD fiat deposits into digital dollars like USDT/USDC are executed directly at the API level.
5. SaaS & Web3 Ecosystem Integration
Enables decentralized ecosystems, gaming, or Web3 financial tools to conduct fiat pay-ins, subscription auto-deductions, smart contract wallet integrations, and transaction status notifications within compliant channels—seamlessly bridging the gap between fiat and digital assets.
DogPay BaaS is designed to empower partners by providing highly flexible fee and pricing model configurations:
💡Flexible Commercial Pricing Loop:
Partners can determine the most advantageous commercial structure with DogPay based on their end-business model. The BaaS billing system supports:
API Integration Fee & Monthly Service Fee
Transaction Fee: Supports independent pricing for pay-in and pay-out transactions.
Downstream Markup & Profit Sharing Mechanism: Supports setting custom fee markups for downstream clients on top of the platform base rate. After deducting baseline costs, DogPay consolidates and clears the profit portion, automatically transferring it to your main account on a scheduled basis.
Specific fee standards will be based on the partner's business scenarios, service regions, account types, KYC/KYB levels, and the final executed Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Q: Can I integrate with BaaS without a financial license?
Yes. If you do not hold relevant compliance licenses, you can choose to integrate via our Agent / Channel Model. Under this model, DogPay and its underlying partner licensed card-issuing institutions handle all fund flow compliance and KYC/KYB reviews. You only need to focus on client onboarding, assisting with compliance document reviews, and maintaining downstream relationships.
Q: What is the core difference between the PSP Model and the Agent Model?
The core difference lies in the ownership of fund compliance entities and the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) relationship.
Under the PSP Model, you operate within your own compliance framework. DogPay delivers full API-driven capabilities to you, including complete fund flow dispatching, sub-account transfers, custom fee controls, and comprehensive reconciliation powers. Under the Agent Model, the compliance entity for funds remains DogPay; you do not directly hold or control fund flows, thereby avoiding the pressure of acquiring compliance licenses.
Q: Does the BaaS system support generating official Proof of Account documents?
Yes. BaaS supports automatically generating PDF-format Proof of Account (COA) documents via API for downstream virtual accounts that meet global banking standards. Downstream clients can directly use this document as official proof of account opening for third-party platform collections or business partnership endorsements.
Q: Is transaction reconciliation supported?
Yes. Reconciliation is an indispensable core capability for enterprise-grade finance. We support real-time transaction statement queries via API and can automatically generate formatted reconciliation files (CSV/JSON) periodically based on your settlement cycle (e.g., T+1), ensuring your local books strictly match DogPay's clearing ledger.
Q: Is instant exchange between fiat and cryptocurrency supported?
Yes. DogPay BaaS provides a Dual-Track Clearing pathway for fiat and crypto assets, supporting real-time, instant exchange and settlement between traditional fiat currencies like USD and USDT/USDC.
Q: Is customizing downstream transaction fees supported?
Yes. Under the PSP Model, you can customize the fee structures for downstream merchants (supporting configurations for inclusive or exclusive fees) and add your service markup on top of DogPay's base costs. All markup profits are consolidated by the system according to the settlement cycle, then automatically processed and transferred to your designated settlement account.
Q: Are Webhook status notifications supported?
Yes. We provide a high-throughput Webhook asynchronous callback system. Whether it is a KYC review status change, successful virtual account opening, or fund deposits/payouts, the system will trigger network callbacks within seconds to ensure your system data remains synchronized with the underlying financial network in real time.
Q: What documents do we need to prepare prior to integration?
Prior to integration, you need to complete DogPay's basic corporate compliance review. Please prepare your entity's business registration documents, identity documents for major shareholders and directors (UBO information), a business scenario statement, and relevant compliance licenses (if applicable). Our account managers will assist you through our fast-track compliance green channel.
Before enabling the bank module, please complete the KYB (Know Your Business) verification and business questionnaire.
This process is used to verify corporate entity details, ultimate beneficial owners (UBOs), and business scope.
💡 Tip:
During the review period, your team can access the Sandbox environment to test account opening, pay-in, and pay-out processes.
